CCCU Saved Members $1,194,000 in 2016!
Monday, February 27 CCCUOne of the most rewarding parts about working for a credit union is being able to help people from our community achieve financial wellness, with confidence that our products are always well priced!
Credit unions are nonprofit financial cooperatives that pay earnings back to members in the form of higher savings rates and lower loan rates. When we make earnings, we use the profits to offer better products and services to our members! This differs from banks, which are for-profit corporations whose declared earnings profit stockholders.
According to the 2016 Credit Union Economic Impacts written by Northwest Credit Union Association (based off of an independent analysis conducted by ECONorthwest), CCCU gave back $1,194,000 in direct member benefits to our 13,551 members in 2016!
If your friends or family members would like to share in the $1.1 million in benefits CCCU gave back to its members, please let them know we are eager and willing to help them improve their financial situation. We’ll give you AND your friend a $100 once the active checking account requirements are met! See credit union for further details.
